Hey guys I saw a real good deal on some 4" speakers so i got em, anyone know if they will fit under the dash as tweeters.... or no way in hell..? thanks

 

I just had some Pioneer 3.5" speakers installed in my dash as tweeters and the guy doing the install told me that if they had been any bigger they would have had to cut the speaker holes (in the dash)bigger and it would have been a lot harder and more expensive.

 

well i guess ill have to take a look under the dash and see what i can do there.... :-P thanks

 

I'm not into speakers or anything, but the last time I popped my dash I think the tweeters up there were smaller then that. I would agree with the guy above saying they're probably too big. But that is nothing one of my favorite tools couldn't fix.

 

the dash speakers are 3.5" ones and theyre full speakers not just tweeters

 

you should check out crutchfield.com, they can tell you exactly what goes in your neon, what will fit and what wont.

Heh, shows how much I know about the speakers in my car. LOL. I guess now that you mention that they are real small speakers. I'm not into speakers, at least in my car. I have 1000+ watts inside my home.....
