Brakes/Trans??
Hi all,
Tuesday Morning (Jan 16, '07) was the first coldest day of the winter season in upstate NY.
Went out to start car and brush/scrape snow/ice off. Got in my car and shifted into drive (automatic), released brake and car did not move. So I gave a bit more gas (thinking it needed a bit more to get over the small snow pile the plow left.) Car did not move until a lot more gas was given. Finally called my roadside service and the guy from the tow thought it might be a plugged trans. line. I thought it might be frozen brakes. By the time I called the Dodge garage, they were closing and could not give me a definite diagostic. Have any other Neon owners had similar problems? My car is an 02 (hope its covered under my warentee)

RE: Brakes/Trans??
my rpms were about 3-4 (I think...must have been closer to 6 when the towing service came to 'see' what the trouble was)
local dealer called and said that there was a 'cross-contamination' between radiator and trans. Got the car used from a Honda dealer and purchased a 3 year warren. Honda was to have a trans breakdown to see what cause is. Guy at Dodge says he thinks the breakdown is 99.999% covered (Gosh I sure hope it is)
