Default 2.2L stroker

I am thinking about doing the 2.2 stroker on my 2.0L. What other things will i have to do to the engine besides build the head, bore the cylinders, and get the bigger pistons and forged rods? Any suggestions?

I am also thinking about getting the 2.2 pistons in low compression and putting on the hahn stage 2 kit on it. MAYBE

If all you're doing is boring to go from 2.0 to 2.2 liters, then not much else... except I don't know if you can do it and keep it reliable, that close the gap a lot between the cylinder walls and might run pretty close to the water and oil jacketing as well. Not sure...

If you do the typical "stroker" you can bore it a bit, and do everything else you mentioned as well as replace the crank with one that has a longer throw (for example if it has a 3" stroke right now and you wanted to keep the same pistons, you might need to replace it with one that has a 3.25" stroke and buy rods that are 1/4" shorter.) That's just an example but you get the idea.

i belive, last time i looked all you have to bore it is 0.04. wich is pretty low.... to what i know anyways so i say it will be very reliable...
the 2.2 stroker kit is what i want to do..... builda full 2.2 MS car, no turbos, for a dd. and then fnd a totaled srt and build a track car. i have the spare 2.0 in my garage to start building too!! im just got to file tax's for my return then i can start.

You would need the 2.2 crank also and a way to control everything...i.e. MS'n'S...

yea that was my main idea, i just wanted to know about the 2.2L. And if i dont do either the 2.4 or 2.2 i am just gonna build up the 2.0 in there now and put a turbo kit on it.
