Has anyone else had a problem with the lower radiator hose rubbing against the back of the A/ C compressor causing a damaged hose and loss of coolant? The new hose from Dodge has an extra bent to correct the problem. However, Dodge just refers to it as a change up with no explanation. Anyway it’s something to check out (I was lucky as mine was just sitting idling in the driveway when it leaked).

Amazing - my car is going in on Monday because the PAS Hose is rubbing against the Air Con Pipe and the PAS hose now needs replacing. It was just by chance the garage spotted it. Luckily the PAS has not lost any fluid.

I have a 2001 RT

Is this a common problem? Is it likely to happen again after its been replaced?
