Default New Struts!

I just lowered my car about 3 inches and I wanted to get new struts but I know nothing about them. I was checking out the KYB GR-2. Does anyone have any suggestions???

What kind of springs are you using??? Stay away from the KYB GR-2's, they are basically the same quality as OEM and will blow just as easily...if you want struts that will hold for much longer (and are fairly inexpensive) buy some Tokico HP Blues. However, any drop over 2" is going to eat through struts no matter what...the only reliable system that will drop you that far are air bags...KONI inserts in stock housing might work pretty good though...

Are you positive its 3", because the Skunk2 springs are ony supposed to give a 2.25" drop...then again if your struts were blown that will lower it a little bit more...but yeah, like i said before, any drop over 2" is going to be rough on struts, so either take your chances with the Tokico HP Blues (which will last a while) or buy some KONI inserts and put them into stock housings or go with coilover suspension.
