Default Projectors on car, WOOT!

Yes siiiiiiiiiir. For those who aren't following my work, my drivers side headlight had a bolt stuck in it. The head snapped off when I tried to put my projectors in a week or so ago. Well I didn't have all my tools last time. This time I came prepared. I got my dremel out, cranked it up to 35,000 rpms (yes it does have vtec for those wondering) and chewed right through the bolt. Then I bent theremaining part and broke it and pulled it out. I drilled out what is remaining up top. I'm not sure I will put a new bolt in or not. We'll see I guess. It is very secure without that bolt anyhow. Well I got my projectors in, installed my wiring harness and turned the headlights to on and sure enoughthey fired right up. The color is amazing, it has an amazing cutoff line. Its jaw dropping to me at least. LOL. Well I have a pic of them on my car in the driveway for now. I'm still working on cleaning up the wiring in the engine bay and permanently fastening the ballasts as well. Light outputpics very soon. Should be tonight at some point.

Nice, just wondering if you could make it black all around? Either way real nice work.

agreed on the blue, it kinda looks weird...

how'd you get the fog lights yellow? just change the bulb or is the actual housing yellow??? (just curious)

Yes, I could have made everything black if I wanted to. I chose to leave some parts chrome so it had some contrast.

Meh. I do what I want. Different strokes for different folks. I say blue...you'd probably pick some other color that I'd think is homosexual. The blue will fade over time anyhow. My old headlights had the same stuff on them and after time you almost couldn't even see it anymore.

It is the same stuff that is on my headlights, the actual housing is yellow. I do want to do the fog lights over again at some point. I really do like the yellow so I think I'm going to leave it like that. And no, I don't really care what anyone else thinks of it. Well after looking at the couple pictures I took, this about the only that came out. I didn't use a tripod...sigh. Guess I have excuse, I didn't have one where I was at. Its too cold to go bother taking more.
