My trans started slipping and with in a mile it is just about gone. It started slippping and I checked the fluid and it was low (no fluid on the ground)so I put two quarts in it then it was where it should be. I had no indication that it was low and checked about 7 months ago. I could smell the cluthes burning when I pulled over. My question is what trans is in this thing and how much do the run and do they have known trans problems.The funny thing is my other car (86' t-type)which ishighly modded also needs a trans I guess the transmission gods are mad at me. The neon is not modded and is not abused much and this came out of left field. Should I go to the bone yard or get it rebuilt.need alittle guidance
