Ultimate turbo setup
I have found that I can even have the turbo itself ported and polished..the turbo housing that is....anyways...anybody correct me if im wrong and tell me whats BEST...I want to run ALOT of boost at least 15lbs....so...Im thinking i need (add to my list is what I ant you to do) for the motor to hold up...i know i need more fuel spark and air flow later on as well...just for the motor to handle the boost i need or want....
J.E. forged connecting rods and pistons..springs and whatnot
Comp 400 cam??with titanium valve springs...
Aport and polishedout magnum cylinder head
what about the rocker arms and pushrods???and havent been able to find J.E. forged stuff for the 04 sxt's just the 99 models will that suffice??

Yes, you can port a turbo...but as for boost, what turbo you choose depends on what kind of numbers you want to make not how much boost you want to create (20psi on a TD04 is no where near the same as 20psi on a GT35r for example).
You'll need an entire bottom end rebuild kit...Modern Performance sells them for 2nd Gen Neons with JE 8.6:1 pistons and forged rods, among other things you would need. You'll need MS'n'S for spark and fuel control...you'll need a boost controller of some kind, or a new WGA for the TD04. For the top end, you dont really need to touch it, but the Comp 400 and Crane 14 cams are excellent turbo cams. You'll need the titanium valve springs and retainers as well, and while you were a it you might as well upgrade to the amagnum head and port and polish that as well. I would also suggest buying a Lonewolf Intake Manifold, 60mm TB (at least), and a 2.5" exhaust to go with it...along with a good BOV to help sustain the life of the turbo. The TD04 is good to about 20psi (around 300whp) so it should work fine if thats your goal.
Thats all I can think of, but its 2:30 in the morning, so I'll have to re-read this in the morning when I'm actually conscious

Man this sucks to hear...I have a powerful sound system and I was wanting a underdrive pulley....but I do have an extra battery and capacitor and Im gonna change out my oem battery for a optima...
SO ODP is that overdrive pulley? I couldnt find any Ultra SS pulley kits for the 04 sxt on Ebay...all I could find was Ultra S which we all know is just the underdrive pulley...so my question is where can i get a ODP??
crap nobody answered my question there...so kool..i know to go to modern performance for my bottom end rebuild kit...is there a ULTRA SS kit for our 2nd gens yet??? i havent seen any...I'll need the odp if i do th udp so im really concerned...
No one makes an ODP for our cars anymore that I'm aware of...I've seen a few used custom made ones before, but none that are mass poduced. Any ODP made for the PT Cruiser or the SRT-4 would work as well, but I've never really extensively researched the topic.
I forgot to mention you'll probably want to add a windage tray and crank scraper to your oil pan...it will keep some stress off the crank and oil pump by keeping the oil where it needs to be and keep stuff lubricated MUCH better and more efficiently.
