my sis has a 2000 2.0 auto she left one of her visor lights on at school and need to be jumped and after it was jumped it ran like sh*t at idle and low speeds( but you can stomp it and it runs fine), no check engine light its not the coil pack , its acting like its miss firing (poping out the intake) and is running real richcause its not buring the fuel, i didnt know if anyone else had this problem thanks , i think it mite bethe comp but it didnt run real ****ty before,but it did site for like 4 weeks up at school so any help would be great

 

OK before you start replacing the computer, try resetting it, disconnect the battery and leave it for 5 or 10 minutes and then reconnect it. When you start it up it will relearn the sensor timing etc. on the 2nd start it should run normally. I’m thinking it may have gotten stuck in the limp home mode, this normally only happens when the camshaft sensor is bad but, the jumping may have glitched the computer. It’s worth a try before you start replacing parts.
