Oil Light Problem
Ladies and Gents,
My fiance is having a bit of trouble with her 03 Neon SXT and I am in need of a little diagnostics help. Recently, she has been telling me that the oil level light is coming on intermitently and for seemingly no reason. I do most of her oil changes and check the level each time I get gas for her car. Has anyone have any idea what it could be?

It may just be a bad senor unit or a bad oil pump (the light is oil pressure not level). It’s best to remove the sender unit and temporarily connect an oil pressure gauge. If the pressure is OK then the sender unit is bad.
