Well I already bought the one srt-4 turbo and it is separated from the manifold. I was planning to put it in the rear of the car at/on the exhaust. And I wouldn't be doing this to the 2.0 liter but the 2.4 liter srt-4....I figured If I got a srt-4 I might as well throw my other turbo at it....run it on the exhaust and I can cut the boost down on both turbos to maximize the turbo life. The 2.4 engine should be able to withstand it no prob I hear they are good for 500hp
Yeah, I can separate mine as well, but it does no good without the manifold. Its not like you can bolt it up to something else though.

im actually trying to find myself an exhaust manifold, so that maybe i can figure out how i can modify it to more readily accept a turbo being bolted directly on... if anyone wants to donate a spare exhaust manifold, over the summer me and a friend of mine could prolly figure out how to modify, or make a new one for the turbo

the reason there is a twin turbo is becasue you can make more boost with smaller turbos that can reduce turbo lag

I was just going to try and follow like a squires turbo system setup except with just one turbo boted up in the back....of course everything is going to have to be custom fabricated...sounds like a lot of fun to me...

sounds cool, but on a small engine , you wont get a whole lot of exhaust moving through each one . you would make more boost with a single, mabeyim wrong?
