Well, I just bought a Neon on eBay (as horrifying as that sounds) andI was wondering if anything looks bad to any of you auto-savvy guys. There are quite a few modifications from the looks of it and what does 16G Turbo even mean? Will this car fall apart on the ride home or do the mods look like they'll hold up on the 2.0 engine?

lotta parts arent installed so u are gonna have to do it urself or pay someone...i would be concerned with the tranny...grinds arent good.....the hahn turbo is a good turbo its a high quality....good luck

Cheap. That's pretty brave to buy a car through Ebay. I would have to test drive the car and get things looked at.

I would worry about the transmission first. They aren't that great to begin with. If he drove the car hard it could possibly have problems. Hopefully the trans is ok though. I just got through rebuilding mine.

 

the intake is where the battery should be... thats a weird spot....

 

Yeah hahn is a wonderful turbo setup . I have the stage2 in my 1st gen and shes auto. Nothing wrong with gettin a ride off of ebay Ive bidded on a few srt4s and always lose out them. Also bidded on a few show neons but lose out on them too. Good luck and I forgot alot have relocated the battery to the trunk in neons.

 

Maybe he wanted to create more space in the engine compartment for what sounds like a custom turbo setup.
