Would like to know how hard is it to replace the head on a 2000 Plymouth MTX. The Sis striped her threads that house the spark plugs. Thanks!

Its a 2000 with a 5-speed...Im guessing it would be an easy swap right with another if you replace the seals

Alright. This would be my first time pulling a head off a car engine. You basically remove the exhaust and intake and timing belt right?

if you plan on swapping the valve train componnent over it might be pain because the valve springs on soch don't go on with out a fight. you just be sure too line up all your marks and you can do it in one weekend no problem also you might want too replace the water timing belt ant tensenior while in there

replacing the head is no easy simple task....

I took mine off to do my camshaft and to get at the header easier...

You need to pretty much take apart the whole engine bay.

It can be done in a weekend if you know how it is done and if you have help to do it.
