removing front door panel

Default removing front door panel

does anyone know how to remove the front door panel so i can get to the speakers?
i removed the 3 screws and started removing thepanel around the edges but i dont knowhow to removethedoor window crank, that was the only reason i didnt go any further.

power windows in the front or no. if not you need to take the crank off by i think sliding a towel under it ans carefully taking it off. someone please correct me if im wrong and i take no responsibility lol sorry. aside from that, there are just clips thatyou just pull off. be careful not to break anything

oh, no power windows in the front. that's why i stoped i dont know if the crank just comes off or if there are any 'clips' or anything that's holding it in. or should i just pull til it comes off?

no no no dont pull till it comes off. use the washclothe/tshirt method. Take a clothe of some kind and slide it under the handle, and make sure the window is all the way down. And then just keep sliding back and forth and the small copper pin should pop out but watch for it cause its small and could get lost and if it hits ya in the eye its gonna hurt. When you put it back on just slip it on the rod it came off of and thats it.

There is actually a slick little tool I purchased at my local auto parts storejust forthis purpose. It made the job very easy. I've never tried the t-shirt/towel method mentioned.

yeah you can buy the tool and it makes it very easy, but the towel method works fine too and doesnt cost anything
