Doing Shocks on my truck. Are KYB a good brand? I'm lookin to go monotube and on a budget. I wanted Edlebrock but what I wanted they dont offer for my application. KYB a good substitution?

Put on the Napa nitrogen-gas reflex shocks. They were cheap and made the truck ride nicely after 13 years of factory shocks that didn't even work anymore...

I have used Rancho RS9000s and they crapped after 30K miles. THen i went with RS5000s. They come with a lifetime waranty, the 9000s didn't.

I like the rancho, and they just had a rebate offer that expired on 31 aug. 47 dollars each and they gave you a $50 visa check card when you bought 4. THat paid for the 49 dollar rancho steering stabilizer.

I like ranchos and the RS5000s have a lifetime warranty.
