Just put one on yesterday (as you know). Not really that loud, but at least I can hear the exhaust now..lol. I had a magnaflow on my Dakota and that sounded really nice, but I didn't want to spend that kind of money. I should have gone with a glass pack. But for $30, the price was right.

Put true duals (no cats) with Dynomax VT mufflers... Great bass sound, not too loud, but great power! Gives enough backpressure at low RPMs to maintain the lower power band, but has high-flow at higher RPMs for better power there.

Dodgedude, I hooked it back up stock. Techningeer, I can't remove my cats legally. If I had the money I would install headers and run true duals with high flow cats, but an exhaust system like that would end up costing as much as I paid for the whole truck, which does not make much sense to do.

We don't have to pass emission testing here so cats came off. Almost did headers, but then had to put 2 new tires on the van so there went the headers idea...

I had a fm40 on my Dakota originally, the drone was terrible, I hated it. I replaced it with a magnaflow and totally LOVED the sound. I just can't justify spending that kind of money on a muffler for this truck, though. I got other stuff to update/replace/repair/fix first.

Same here. I loved the sound of the Magnaflows and AeroTurbines. But I didn't have the $200+ to spend on a muffler. And if I don't like it...uhhh.....MY BABY! lol
