I see, and what testing exactly did you do on the insides of them to reach the conclusions that you so boldly put out there as fact? Did you run unfiltered oil through them and then measure the remnant particulate matter? Did you test the durability and longevity of the filtering material? Did you measure the surface area and thickness of the filter material? Did you do performance tests on the filter screen? Did you test the anti drain back capability? Did you test the bypass valve? Did you run a hydrostatic burst pressure test on each filter?

I can only assume that since you know so much about which filter is the best, that you must have done all of the above, on many different brands of filters, and have documented your conclusions? Or, is it that you just read an Engine Oil Filter Study on the internet, and are regurgitating it as if it were your own. Or lastly, are you just talking out of your *** with no actual analysis at all (worst case scenario).

All i'm saying is, if your going to make definitive statements like you did about what filter is better then another, you better have some data to back it up, otherwise it is nothing but opinion, and should be stated as such.

my dad hates it when people use absolute statements also (always, never, every time etc...)

If you say 5,000 miles of use in a engine that has over 170,000 miles a test, then yes I did test them. Filter strength is eaisly identifyiable by the construction of them. Take my advice however you want, but go and cut up a Fram and a Wix filter and see how much common sense it takes to say the WIX is better. All of my advice is based on observations, not expensive tests.
