Default Tuners

Are you running a tuner? What kind? Are you happy with it? Would you recommend it to a friend?

I currently use a SuperChips 3815. Its simple to use, and internet updateable. I would recommend it to anyone looking to get rid of the death flash. Its not fully programmable as compared to others. But its a good start point for getting into modding your Ram.

i also currently have a superchips flashpaq its a awesome mod too start as it will open up your 5.2 and 5.9 ..

if you have "death flash" a sticker on the PCM, the superchips bypasses it and when you lock in the superchips it feels like a brand new truck with the new performance ,day and night diffrence ...

but if i were to do it a again i would go with a SCT as they make custum tunes to benifit the mods that you have and can always add to it,SCT also removed torque management as where superchips is a can tune and DOES NOT... go with hemifever with tunes next on my mod list

I have a custom B&G tune. Modified M1 performance tune with custom idle and shift points. Torque management removed.

super 3815 is what i have currently. i have had the jet stage 2 chip and the hypertech max energy also. performance wise the 3815 is better. got a little better fuel economy with the hypertech. sct is in my near future though.
