I'd rather run copper and replace my plugs more often then run platinum and sacrifice good performance for long life.

I put in Champion 436s in and I am convinced I hate them. Ever since the plug/cap&rotor change, I have lost pickup and about 1.5-2mpg. Im currently looking for replacement set.
Keep seeing E3 being used on Powerblock TV but not sure if that price is worth it...

Champions are THE worst plug ever made bar none. Used to be tops at one time but now are nothing but rubbish. If using / looking for stock plugs I recommend NGK Vs over Autolites and Autolites as second choice. For non-standard plugs I prefer Pulstar plugs if money is not an issue.

Try Pulstars- you'll like them and, I've got two sets and with both, no issues with misfires either. The idle of Pulstars are incredibly smooth along with much more response and feel than standard plugs. I love them and don't even bother with stock plugs. Those E3 are sort of spin-off of Bosch 4-conductor plugs but, they've taken it a step further by protruding the tip / length further into the combustion zone which may be the reason you had misfires. It's even posted on their site how standard designs fire better. So, those plugs in my opinion, suffer from some of the same design flaws that had plagued Bosch Platinum 4s forever. It's the same exact idea (more sharp edges) only using a different S&M tactic to make it look like it's something new.
