Well, Lemon Drop has had its first tire-related failure today. Front passenger side valve stem let loose out of no where, tried to put liquid tape on it, all that did was make a mess.
So I slid a cinder block underneath the control arm so it's not entirely down on the ground when I mess with it. Oi.

I also found that the wheels aren't factory, "Accuride" dated in 1997. Weird.

Drove it 10 MILES WITHOUT STOPPING! Woohoooooooo!!!!! I'm in cloud 9 now lol! The NV4500 feels AWESOME AWESOME! The engine has more than enough power, I can make it up a 7% grade in 4th gear without lugging the engine at all!

Itd just be easier to do the whole thing no? I really dont mind spending a few extra bucks to make life easy! lol

Anyways also removed nerf bar from passenger side of truck today to make it look higher, definitely worked! Good lord those bolts did not want to come off, after 30 mins at one with the breaker bar ratchet and socket I had just loosened enough to slip a sawzall blade in behind n cut! For my own laziness I left the driver side bar on

Also rerouted stock air intake to draw from front of engine bay, then took her for a drive up and down the street a few times! Damn I miss driving my truck

Oh and because pics or it didnt happen:

Does it work better there? If so why? I know Dodge must have a reason for there just not sure what it is? I was curious to see how it would react to drawing from there instead a the fender.

It gets cooler air from the OEM location. Unless you extend it out to the grille, you are basically just drawing hot air like a K&N CAI. Get a K&N drop in filter and be happy.

Yep, it was me.

I just don't have mine shoved as far down as yours. Any further and it wouldn't hold. lol

And I'm not entirely sure how the air it pulls in is cooler. It either comes from the cowl or the pocket behind the headlight, which doesn't allow much air.
