You've got a 600 on it now right?

Ah, yeah.
And just a tad small for a 400...

Are the primaries smaller than the secondaries on this one?

actually the 670 would be perfectly at home on a 400 or 440 as long at the engine is built with a max rpm of 5000.

i think they are by a tiny bit smaller but it is hard to see the difference.

Stock on the 400 I think is 850 or so.

I put $30 in the Ram.

Damn $3.49 a gallon gas.

just because they came from the factory with a 850 does not mean that is the most efficient carb for the engine.

i put $30 of gas in my 81 at $5.299/gallon before i changed the carb. don't think i feel any difference yet but i guess it wont burn as much gas. after pulling the 1 float bowl off the primaries and finding it fairly clean i did not even bother taking off the the secondaries float bowl. i did brake the gasket when i took the primary float bowl off so i kind of borrowed the blue reusable gasket off the 650 Holley i had sitting around. it will definitely need new gaskets if i try to take the carb apart but i think for now it should be fine.

What kind of 6x9s did you install? I need to put new 6x9s and new rear speaker in mine too. I'm going to get a small 4 channel amp to run to all of them too.
