Ordered a snap on mt2500 scanner from ebay! It comes with a bunch of stuff. I hope it isn't missing anything for my truck. Now I can get that dang fuel sync set and mess with my iac.

The only problem I had is when coming off of a high rev or letting of the gas at a stoplight the engine would almost always want to idle real low or more often stall. If your having idle or stalling issues like this PM me and I'll let you know what I did to fix mine. Good luck.

Just one time not using the trip meter with the 99 showing a quarter of a tank and fill at the pump went to 31.5 gallons. Note, most Rams have 8 gallons at a quarter of a tank. Advice, always use the trip meter at each fill, never trust a Ram fuel gauge. K.

Edit, fuel light on a 34 gallon diesel tank is 6-8 gallons (1/8 to just shy a 1/4). The VP44 pump is cooled by the fuel. The more fuel, better pump cooling (I've always heard). Factor of recirculation.

Went out and removed the old straps tonight..

Front strap (broke last fall)

Rear strap literally fell apart as soon as I unbolted it!
