RE: What Did You Do To Your RAM Today?
Sunday i replaced my passanger rear axel seal. I will do a write up on it (pretty easy, but no pics). I also changed the rear diff fluid to royal purple. Since i changed the axel seal (breakes were oil soaked) i changed out my rear brake shoes.I also made a custom braket for my scanner and my scanner speaker. looks good (pics to follow). I Also put my blue lights in behind the grill and ran all the wires to a temporary switch. I am waiting to get my switch box so i can permenatly mount my switches. All and all, i had a busy Sunday.

I got rid of the Flowmaster Super44 today and put on a Flowmaster 40. The 44 had way to harsh a sound for my tastes. At lower RPM's, it sounded fine, but as soon as I got above 3000, it started to get a very raw, harshness to it that was more irritating than performance sounding.
The 40 makes a very nice, deep grumble and goes to a nice, throaty roar at higher RPM's.
Best of all, the exhaust shop didn't charge me one cent for the swap.[8D]

Removed and cleaned the throttlebody, replaced the air cleaner, and replaced the stand-alone breather I use with my round air assembly. Noticed that I have oil in my intake.
Also remounted my ax, shovel, and hi-lift back in the bed. I took them out so I could haul rock.
