Stopped at advance and threw a new belt tensioner on, no more clicking and clacking at idle for me.

Filled up and changed the tune to 91 octane then noticed a light spark knock when I hit overdrive. Should have put 91 in the tank instead of 89. I guess that BP has ethanol in it now, didn't used to.

Realized that the tapping noise I've been hearing for the last couple trips is the left drum brake, again. I guess I'll be buying another spring kit and adjuster along with swapping the shoes out under warranty when I rotate the tires today.

Drove it.... lol I do need to figure out my cd player though... Maybe its just me but I think the electrical smoke and the fact that it doesnt work means something grounded/shorted out/somehow-my-Redneck-electrical-tape-instead-of-a-wire-harness-patch job failed... :P

Butt connectors and liquid electric tape would be a good investment when you get a new radio.

Just dumped $1500 at Summit Racing on the parts for an overkill 100k tune-up, high-flow cat and exhaust, and SuperChips 3865. More FOR the truck than TO it, today, but what the heck.

Good thing the Mrs. is understanding!

Before anyone kicks a boot up my ***, I chose the 3865 on purpose to get the towing tune and tire size correction. I don't care to squeeze out every last tenth of a horsepower or smoke the tires, I just need to get up and down the mountain without planting my foot on the firewall.

T-23....
Descovered a flaw on the passenger side corner of the bumper so I had to strip all the primer off, do a bit of hammer work and the some filler. Got it reprimered but...while trying to find a place to put one my freshly primed rear shocks, I knocked the bumper off it's stand and put a couple small knicks in it. *%#$%@(*&!
It'll be fixed by tomorrow, and ready for paint by Sunday... I hope. Should have the other shock painted and primed tomorrow too.

The 3815 has a towing tune and tire size correction.

I put a new Stant 180º (that I tested in boiling water with my heat gun) in when I installed the Airgap. It's probably those Bosch +4 plugs with a .065 gap causing it.

I also checked the rear brakes and they look fine, anyone else have a tapping noise from the back left side when moving slow and stopping? I'm thinking it might be the e-brake cable tapping but I'm not sure.

Yeah, that's why I went with it over the hemifever SCT. The one I ordered is the 3865 which I believe replaced the 3815. If it gets me a little further up the mountain before I dent the firewall, I'm happy enough with it.
