Filled up the tank, getting 12.7-12.8 (4 tanks average).
swapped the drive wheel with the drivers front tire. the other two tires have the exact amount of wear, but the drivers front was like brand new. so, might as well put it where it belongs. I'd say we are done with snow this year... I think I have enough rubber to make it to the up cominng winter... then getting BFG Long Trail T/A.

Also bought most of my supplies to fix the door rot. I just need to get some bondo, and sand paper. wont start that until its at least 65 out.

 

Serviced my tranny...new filter and about 6.5 qts of new fluid...Mopar ATF+4, of course.[8D] Glad as heck to see that the fluid didn't look or smell too bad at all...and no pieces of metal in the pan! Yay...

 

finaly got around to polish my headlights to get the yellow off them.YAY!! used the headlight polish from pep boys and was only $10 and took 5min per headlight. looks mUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUch better

 

i put my sirius radio in the garage door opener holder so i just have to close it instead of pulling all the wires out every nite its a lil tight when it closes and you can see the screws that i used sticking out when closed but i never have to look at it so i can deal with it for now till i figure something else out

I used my new used superchips programer today in the 89 setting, so we will see how it does. and i must add i got it at a seal of a price!!

 

I replaced my alternator. 175 dollars later, it sounds soooooo much better than the constant squeal i had going on.

 

oh yeah, well I got drunk and hit a mailbox (took the mirror off of the passenger side) and put mine down in the bottom of a ravine (no damage, other than what was there)

Take my word for it kiddies, drinking and driving DOESNT PAY!!!

Got 13.1MPG city with the truck. I was shocked.

Also, installed a free set of Cooper Discoverer ATR 265/75/16 10ply load range E. Yes, I know they are over kill capacity wise for the 1500, but they were FREE.
My father in law had them on his F250 7.3L and wanted to get quieter highway tires (Firestone Destination). Just paid $60 to get them balanaced and mounted. SWEET.

They weren't my first choice of tire, but I can't beat the price.


Installed Sylvania 9004 ST/2 headlights, much brighter than the stock lights but don't have the fake gay blue tint. they are just brighter.

Just came back from fixing the electric seat switch with some R/C motor cleaner spray.

 

gave mine a bath, looks so clean and shiney. up next a flowmaster, i just cant decide between the 40 series or the super 44? any help please? i'll have better pics when the suns out and it gets in the 60's.
