I installed my Viar air compressor finally, kicked the tires, checked the oil. Ready for our trip to MO.

-Installed exterior bed cleats to provide new points for tieing down loads in the bed.

-Installed the landing pads for my bed mounted Yakima LoadWarrior basket that i'll be putting my spare tire in. The cross bars and the control towers havn't arrived yet. Should finish that install up tomorrow or the next day.

Feathered the gas pedal all the way to Tifton, 37 miles from home, left the house with a hair over 1/8 a tank and got there just about dead even on 1/8.

Put gas in it, $78 total with 1/8 tank left. Speaking of gas does everyone else's gas light and buzzer kick on at 1/8 tank?

It's consistent so I'm pretty sure it's ok, just wondering...

yep mine does

Mine too. Only vehicle I have that is consistent - and I can hear it.

I picked up a new AC compressor last week (or my wife did while I was out of town on business). I swapped the clutches out this afternoon as the clutch is all I needed. Reman compressor was $65.00. Stealership wanted over $200 for clutch alone!

Removed my running boards today. They are getting rusty and starting to sound like they could fall apart when you step on them. Other then the fact that it is harder to get in the truck, I think it looks a lot better without the running boards. Probably need to find something though because i'm not the only one who has to get in and out of it from time to time.

Anyone got some N-Fab's they want to part with. I think that is the style I want to go with.
