The newer duramaxs are way better than the old ones. Notice how you never see a 90's duramax on the road

You do, but they're usually on the side of the road or being towed by a Cummins.

I see early DuraMaxes on the road all the time, and cummins alongside the road, but who knows WHY they all are on the side of the road. At any rate, as I always say, every brand has their problems, and every brand suits some people better than others. For me, I am aiming for the best of 3 worlds: Ford IDIT 7.3L, Dodge Cummins Turbo, and Chevy DuraMax/Allison 6.6L. Then I can claim to have the best trucks around

At any rate, update on my ujoint problem, I just made 10 miles on the road now, no problems. Yokes must have been slightly bent inwards, so I fixed it by grinding down the surface on the yokes that the clips rest against, and also I got some HD Precision ujoints, they have a MUCH better clip and groove design than the NAPA or MasterPro brand ujoints.

^Because they came from Ford.

In other news, the wheels on my 76 came off a mid 90's SuperDoody.

LMAO!!!! Hallelujah!

BTW, Ford and Dodge wheels are interchangeable in many years, I've got a Dodge rim on the Ford dually, cuz one of my Ford rims was bent, and the Dodge rim, when on the inside tire, allows MUCH better spacing of the tires.

If I got a spare it would likely have to be from a mid-90's Ford. lol Loads of those crap cans around here.

I wish I had the $400 to drop on the 2001 Ram 2500 alloys.

Shut yo face.

The later wheels aren't interchangeable as Ford went with a metric sizing system as you well know. Only the 90's and earlier stuff is.
