Actually, it hasn't been long since I've cleaned it. And I had shot some oil into the action before running the 5.56. I'm wondering if the case blew up.
Well, probably. I just don't know whether to get 4.10s or 4.56s with my 35s i'll be getting sometime around late Spring. Cause all you guys are like "Go big, go 4.56s." And "Nah, you're like 4.10s better."
But when you say "lifted mileage," how much are we talking about going down here? I get bad enough how it is, haha.

Dam*it. How bad do you think i'll get merc? I mean, it's only a 5" which isn't "TOO" much.. I'm probably getting 12-13 now.
LOL My best guess is between 8 and 11 if you want to keep up with people. I used to be able to squeeze 16 mpg outta this thing on the hwy thats driving like older people than I am, last off the line most times, I stick to 50-55 mph. I was driving it like it should be driven the other day out of OD, 1/4 tank gone in under 50 miles lol 3000+ rpm on the twisty hwys, I was running it hard, manual shifting, wot more than a few times.

If this wasn't my daily driver to and from work everyday, it would be in the process..

Just get 4.56 and be done with it. I ran 35's on my 4.10 and hated it. RPM's to high out of over drive and to low in it for cruisin town.

Best advice ever for a lifted truck.

Ya have to look at it this way. By lifting you're adding more drag to the truck. 5" is pretty tall for a standard lift, I'd say expect a loss of at least 2-3 mpg, possibly even more. Gears will help a little but its still gonna be bad even for our trucks...
