Yah I know that. I've sharpened countless blades. I just was asking cuz some people always just buy blades instead of sharpening them.

Theyre pretty cheap. Unless you have a grinder laying around its probably more convenient to just replace them

I think i might take all my bumper trim off and paint it black. Its all so faded and old looking

They were in rough shape when I got the mower but they did a good job, I did some cutting down by the creek and hit a rock that was mostly buried in the ground, it bent the tip of the blade down then it broke off.

It was time anyway

Gas is $3.47/gallon here now. Keeps going up.. Ugh. Diesel is 3.98/gal last I checked.

Tell me about it. I spent all last summer fixing myJohn Deere in between every other mow.

Both of our deeres have been running strong for a while, dont expect anything else.
