I hate people(no offense to any of you on here) that lift there trucks and get 35s and never use em for the purpose of a lift and big tires..... I hate street queens haha

that exhaust looks as though it came off a honda prelude.... i used to own one a couple years ago, and the exhaust is the exact same as the one in the pic, so some idiot decided to lower the car beyond use and look what happens...haha!

I've always laughed at skyscraper rigs. Sure, they'll cross rivers... but what's the point if you can't crawl up the canyon wall on the other side? If it's just to get wet, go play in the sprinklers with the rest of the children.

I just had new CV's put on the truck Monday.. I simply didn't have time and needed the truck Tuesday, so I paid someone to do it..

I have a third gen w/ torsion bars, and a 4~5" suspension lift on it..

The, uhem, Buddies, I had put the lift on were ALL about height.. they left the 2.5" leveling keys on it and lifted on top of it.. they put the skyjacker +3 leaves on the back, and left 2" and 3" blocks stacked on it.. They turned the torsion bars up as high as they would go- to achieve WHAT??? Obviously, this was the demise of my CV's..

Some time back I removed both the blocks, and was sitting front high- so I turned the torsion bars down until it was level.. then the rear leaves settled and it was front high again..

Monday, I turned the bars until I'm 1 1/2" lower in the front than the back.. I'm really happy with the way it sits now.. I'm saying all of this because:

If you have full articulation of the suspension, and can get full lock up turning with nothing rubbing, WHY would you want anything higher?? WHYWHYWHY?? All it does is stresses the hell out of the mechanics- it gives you ZERO ground clearance..

I'm setting just right now.. I have full lock ability and full articulation- and I'm down from 7.5" of lift to maybe 4.5".. maybe even 4".. and I have the same ground clearance.. and it looks and rides a LOT better, and was easier to align- a LOT easier to align..

it's just ego that makes folks o that it is my opinion- just like folks who forsake performance to 'sound' good.. that is the next one that kills me...
