Although not something I check out very often, I clicked the link on the story about Dodge workers being drunk on the job. Like went to you Tube (for a Fox story). Alss the comments were negative about union workers in the auto industry. Also, the posts were several months old.
So it is about attacking workers, attacking unions (after all, unions promote drunk working), and no one else in the country goes to work drunk! And one comment even stated something about "is this why our soldiers are dying to protect these unions? - send them to Pakistan and let them take care of them...." WTF?
WTF? Why is this "news" on DF?

The GOP is specifically targeting "low information voters", of which there are many. George Carlin once said, paraphrased: Think about how stupid the average guy is; now consider that more than half of the population is at least as stupid as that guy.
That guy? He had his windows and doors duct taped a decade or so back. He didn't care to have information enough to know that Iraq couldn't possibly have possessed nuclear weapons or a development program for them in 2002/2003. Today, he believes that Iran (which he pronounces "Eye ran") is a threat to US interests in the Middle East and wants Israel "wiped off the map". He still isn't sure that Obama is an American citizen by birth, and believes that hordes of citizens of Mexico are streaming across the border every day to steal our jobs, health care, and welfare, and are beheading people in southern Arizona.
It's that guy who doesn't know jack about the world around him who's gladly spreading misinformation all over the internets.
