The other question I was going to ask in your original thread was whether the guard you purchased was advertised to be a direct fit to your vehicle with no modification. If that's the case, then it could be an issue where you received the wrong bracket, so it's better to call rather than making it fit.

Yeah I was trying to think of the word. Cause we say it differently around here than "rustlers" I couldn't think of the word. Cattle rustlers are nothing to mess with unless you want a big mess.
Darned. Got the Ford stuck WITH A TRAILER ATTACHED!!!!! Shoot.... It sucks to have 2wd. I can't even get the stupid JD 2640 diesel to start. And the 4wd Dodge is still in the garage... Sooooo, any tips? So far I've got a neighbour with a draft horse team arranged to come over and pull it out.... More later. I'm to distraught to type any more...

yeah I need new tires. Mud tires will help out ALOT. But had I had the Dodge I wouldn't have had to take the Ford out in the pasture to bring the trailer home.
It's a dually man get used to getting stuck, they see mud, snow, sand, wet grass and it's over with. Mud tires will help a bit, chains well if you need to chain up you should not be there with a dually. Does it have a open or lsd in the diff, might want to upgrade to a lsd if it's a open diff.
