So this turned out to be an interesting night.

Was in the office on the computer, the dogs were on the porch going absolutely ape **** crazy over something, than I hear chains clanking, so I get up and the 4 wheeler isn't where I parked it.

I look around can't find it, hop in the truck drive up and down the road, don't see anything.

Came back to the house, grabbed the phone, went back out to the truck, and then I saw it:





It was parked at the house in front of the porch in between the truck and the wifes car with the parking brake set.

I didn't see or hear anyone, but I think it had help getting down there.

 

Somebody either A) tried to steal it, or B) is pissed off at you.

 

Thing is it's my sister's 4 wheeler, maybe she's got an enemy.

I've rolled down our driveway it in before, it's not that easy to do if your not facing downhill, it's doesn't free roll.

Called the Sheriff's Department, they came out and looked things over, we winched it up on it's side and walked it up the hill it went down.

Since I didn't see anyone there's not much at the moment he can do, but did say to report anyone around that we don't know.

 

The way I look at it from a criminal's point of view is that it's only your sisters quad if the person KNOWS it's her quad and where it's located. Other than that, it's your quad to any person that doesn't know you're borrowing it.

The only person who knows this place well enough to naviagte at night without being seen or heard is the guy my grandfather had living in the guest house. He's been gone since mid January, and hasn't given us any trouble.

It's just weird. 4 wheeler is in the garage, anything happens to it again we'll know for sure someone is messing around.
