do you have the 16" or 16.5" tires? i guess you could burn off what you have and buy some better rims and tires. just hope you don't have 16.5" rims or it may just be simpler to upgrade to 16" rims and tires.

Why risk human life, on either side, just for one arrest?
Besides, it reads like he/they haven't left the compound in 11 years, effectively putting themselves under house arrest.

The presence of all the extra people and his willingness to stay on the property and leave everyone else alone is keeping him alive.
By contrast, I know a guy that was a similar hermit and went a little too crazy and mouthy. he went to town over a couple of routine tax and legal matters and started running his mouth and threatening the courthouse workers, sheriff and judge. bad move..... it was about time for a state-wide, anti-terrorist, homeland S.W.A.T. exercise. so about 200 heavily armed, body armored, armor vehicled, anti-terrorist, loaded for Bin Ladin officers went in in the middle of the night with stun grenades. guess who's in jail in solitary mental confinement and not getting out. he's in his own personal Guantanamo. (their answer to "bring more body bags" would have been... we only need one.)

I agree that cooler heads have prevailed in this case. Don't know what he would be charged with if he decided to leave his property, but wonder if their isn't a statute of limitations on it, after all this took place 13 yrs. ago and it's just the standoff that's ongoing.
