sorry not bashing.....but how many times have u stopped in a orielly or autozone and asked a ? only to get that dumb look on there faces.

 

If i'm talkin to the newbies??? Many times. Talkin to the guys I know that have been working on cars since diapers?? Rarely. Sorry OT Talk I'll knock it off.

 

I did that twice. First time was over lug nut size, and the second was an argument over what transmission have. Try to tell me I have a 44RE... Jeez.

From there on out, I go to one oriely's store, have access to the back, pull the part I need, pay for it, and then leave.

 

lol my worst one was bought a water pump for a 84 tbird...took damn near 4hrs replacing it was down to the last step putting the fan back on and the bolts dont match up after much cussing and scratching head i go in and call up the parts store...guy says does your car have overdrive i said ya i told you that he says oh crud i gave you the one without overdrive...had to drive 35 miles to get it exchanged...talk about pissed
