2nd Gen Ram Roll Call

I'll just go through the highlights
Current: 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 360. Love this truck because it's actually a truck as opposed to the 2001 Ford it replaced. It seems to have all the typical Dodge problems (cruise doesn't work, wild vents, something up with the transfer case, mileage that makes a stockholder in Exxon-Mobil proud) all seem to be easy fixes (although the transfer case banging really worries me).
Before: 2001 Ford Regular Cab Shortbox 4x4 5.4L. Couldn't really say much bad about this one except for it's strange desire to blow the sparkplugs out of the head. Got good mileage, ran decent (although being a 5.4L, you would think it would've had more low end grunt). In the end, the spark plug issue just got to be too much. Fixed it one last time and sent it down the road.
Last one: 1992 Chevy Regular Cab Shortbox 4x4 350. This was a good truck. Got rid of it for the ill fated 2001 Ford. 350/auto. Ran like a champ even with 165K on it. Did nothing but oil/filter changes. Got better mileage than my Dodge could ever dream of, and was right on par with my Ford. Also chicks dug it, because it was decked out with a couple grand worth of new paint and chrome.

1995 Dodge Ram 2500, Cummins

First car ever, 93 Suzuki Sidekick, Red, just like the power rangers used to have :>
Then I drove a 92 honda accord while I was in the army, Admittedly had no troubles with it. Great car gave it away when I deployed to a friend.
Inherited my granddads 97 dodge ram 1500, 3.9 L upon coming home. He was a veteran also. Started out junking the speakers, put nice 4 ways in, then added a power inverter and a tool box so I could use a power sander to remove the chipping paint and rust spots (you all have a second gen ram, you know what im talkin about) Eventually I added a sub woofer, redid the headliner, added a cold air intake and a throttle body spacer trying to cut down on the gas from commuting to Austin.
Things I like about my truck. Huge bed. Big bench seat, great for dates :> Awesome sound system, Truck Pool!, Place to keep my tools with me at all times.
Things I hate: Ive spent somewhere close to 2k in repairs to keep it running for the 2 years I have owned it, compared to the 600 I spent total keeping both of my lil jap rides running for 6 years. Thats the only part I hate.
Also I own a 1965 v8 4 barrel Mustang. Present to myself when I came home from Iraq, Its so sweet >.<

1st: 1994 Dodge Ram 1500, 5.2 V8, 4x2
Reg. Cab 8ft bed.
I LOVED the big california style tow mirrors!
2nd (Current):
2001 Dodge Ram 2500, 5.9 V8, 4x4, 3" lift
Regular Cab w/ 8 foot bed. If you want 4 doors, get a sedan!
Those are the only two that I've personally owned. Before I used to drive my Dad's 1998 Buick Century (awesome car, has 295,000 miles and counting!) and my mom's 2000 and 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan (tranny blew in the 2000).
