I used to see these often in Phoenix, they are only offered in 2wd and usually are lowered...
I thought they looked awesome, but since it costs thousands less to build them there because there are fewer regulations...

BTW the RAM SUV was a custom build done years ago for a Saudi ruler (go figure!) to inspect his oil wells. Suburban panels, rear doors and the hatch were grafted on to a Ram cab. The motor trend article I read on them stated that because of the lack of body mounts the ride was fairly noisy. Several ( I don't remember the exact number) were shipped overseas.

You can't register them because they don't have a valid (US) VIN. Can't get insurance on it either. Best you could probably do is pull some kind of salvage title on it depending on what state you live in. I'd just get the Mexican plates on, your constable back in Ohio or whatever would most likely be clueless on how to deal with it.

actually the more i look at it i think i prefer the durango.

I think the idea was good but it fell flat, lol i mean its really quite ugly.

i've never seen one of those before. i like the looks of that thing better than the durango too. nice find.
