fwiw, i just picked up my 99 2500 CTD 2wd. it is almost perfect cosmetic condition with rhino lined bed and a leveling kit. Nice truck, and i still had to do some minor paint work to the guys new car to roll out with it for 6,500.
ya my oil changes cost a lot more now, but there is basically no other maintenace to do on that motor, it just works. the tranny and dana 60 are bullet proof as well, especially if you have the hd shift kit installed in the tranny. mine came with that as well. and the gas mileage is friggin kick a$$. i hope i will never have to own another gas powered truck again.

I bet ur getting around 20-22 MPG in that beast!
