I am looking at buying gauges from Glow Shift for my 2001 dodge cummins with an automatic transmission. It is currently all stock and not chipped. I haul horses on a somewhat regular basis. I was looking at their gauge packages which include the 3 gauge pillar. I already know to get gauges for the exhaust temp and for fuel pressure, but not sure if I would be better off getting a gauge for boost or for transmission temp. I would like some advice on this matter.
Or would I be better off getting a 3 in 1 (with boost, pyro and fuel pressure) and then doing a transmission temp gauge separately; I think it works out to be another $50 more than the above mentioned package.

I lied, it's only $10 more if I went with the 3 in 1 and bought the transmission temp gauge separately instead of the 3 gauge pillar with fuel pressure, egt and transmission temp gauges.

 

If you tow you need EGT, tranny temp and fuel psi. Boost unless your chipped is just kinda a fun gauge to watch. If your chipped its a good thing to have but stock not supper necessary.
