here is a clip my wife took of me pulling at our local field days with my little ram, not bad for a basicly stock 318, i ended up 7th out of more than 20 trucks. I out pulled my friends dodges with both 318s and 360s, my friends 97 f250 and 2 nissan titan, even a couple hemi's, I think tires had everything to do with it because the track was muddy and it was hard to go strait.

never seen it done on pavement before. the one i did and all ive seen are on dirt

 

I thought it was pavement at first too, but I believe it is gravel because they had the steamroller out there. Or maybe it's a dirt stretch next to the strip and the roller was just coming back around to the start. I dunno, gotta wait on ramsport to get back on.

 

There are two tracks there, the one im on is a clay/sand mix, and the one closer in the video is a stone track, they pull the big trucks on the stone and the smaller stuff in the clay
