I have an 01 2500 with the 360 in it 4x4 with auto tranny.
I just got done having a rebuilt transmission put in my truck after my origional one went it. I have 130xxx miles on the truck. but my point is my check engine light came on and i broke down in the middle of an intersection had it towed home next day got the code for it P 1757 the code for the solenoid I have reverse and i have to manually shift it on the column to go anywhere it wont go straight into drive. Tonight I replaced the main solenoid that had went bad put new fluid in it and test drove it check engine light is still on and i still cant put it into drive... need some advice on what else it might be? Im tired of going through transmissions I am a faithful dodge girl but this is getting expensive so im hoping this is going to be a cheap and easy fix
