See the original owner liked my battery idea
If you have an M1/4BBL(hard to tell from that pic ) it will have the 2bbl adapter plate ontop like mine.

They were instantly a hit that year, so Dodge had to make another street truck next year...thus the SS/T Ram was born. (Super Street Truck) They made the SS/T versions for 97 and 98 only...making a total of over 5000 units. BTW, did you see my brothers 98 SS/T he got two weeks ago?
Anyways...yeah its fast...nice numbers at rear wheels w/ posi trac. Wanna take it down the quarter mile at the Atlanta Dragway next Friday...

Basically, the Indy 500 Edition was the production truck Dodge made from the one used as a pace car for the Indianapolis race back in '96. They only made 2802 units. Pretty much it is a street version of regular Ram 1500's. It came lowered, and had a special apperance pkg, sporting blue and white stripes, 17 inch alloy wheels...all Indy's came this way...I believe you could get different options and such, but all came the same color, and even the 5.9 360 was putting out the same power as the other Rams that year.

Indy pace trucks (150) had various track duties for the May 96 Indy 500 race, not nascar. Hence the name Indy
The Indy pace trucks actually sat very high stock.
Side by side with a new 98 Ram 4x4 I use to have they were exact same height.
Back in 96 the 360 came stock with only 230hp.
The Indys came with a catback exh (besides other things mentioned) that bumped the numbers to 245/335.
Indys appeared on the lots & were dealer ordered with various options.
The majority came with rollpans on them.
Most were spoken for if you lived in a big city, I had to drive to a town 30miles away to get mine.
All 360s in 98 got the same exhaust boosting their hp to the same as an Indy.
The 318s also got a better exh that year boosting their numbers up 10hp (cant remember trq)
Matthews working on some issues so hes been a bit sidetracked, probably why no more pics yet.

Indycar is pretty much the same as F1 but they race on a few ovals too I think... The Indy 500 is about the only race I watch... All of those F1/Indy races are won in qualifying anyways, and then after that they have a 3 hour parade around the track in single file I wanna see bent fenders and tire marks on the sides of racecars, not a 30 car long snake lol
