Starting to "trick out" my truck
I don't believe the "black" thing is overdone, at least around here it isn't.
Maybe that's because I O'd on the chrome thing back in the day...
Or I don't care about trends...
Any dark color on white provides contrast, any light color provides shading and anything shiny makes it appear brighter.
Good luck finding your personal balance.
Long arm kits are still around, but not as easy to find as when these trucks were new. Your selection will depend on whether or not you want to permanently modify your vehicle.

Black all day, especially on a white dodge. That's the best you can get. I would start off with window tint then black out the tail lights, or get aftermarket smoked tail lights. then halo projector smoked out headlights, then some hid bulbs, then a sweet black grille, black creagor soft 8's from summit. Or if you can afford it get Rockstars that would look great.
That's good, I think blacked out white 2nd gen's look the best, especially if theres a little baby C under the hood. But I can only wish for a cummins lol.
