Default quick question

I was wondering if anyone knew off the top of there head what the largest wheel and tire combo i could put on my 97 2500. i like the factory hight of the truck but would like to fill out the wheel wells, but also do not want any rubbing. any info would be great, thanks

You won't fill the wheel wells and not have rubbing. Nor will you retain the factory height of the truck with larger tires. Try searching, this topic has been beat to death. Welcome to the forum.

I have a 97 2500 4x4 with factory suspension....the current set i have on now are 17 inch m/t wheels with size 285 75 17 nitto terra grappler a/ts. gave me about 1 3/4 inch of lift, filled out the wells perfectly (not too big nor too small) and no rubbing...until i put my mud flaps back on...then it will rub at full lock...

hope this helps...Welcome to DF!

I've got 285/75/16 tires on American Racing wheels....

They don't rub that I know of at full lock....then again, my wheels are a little deeper than most I think, as they stick out about and inch from the body. They look great though.
