the easy way to take a windshield fluid cleaner tank out
I notice my windshield fluid was low so I went to the store and got some and filled it up. Well it started leaking bad from were the float is. I wanted to see if i had a bad rubber gasket or i had a crack in the resvoir. It looks like it snaps into place but I dont want to pull it and break something in the process. If any one has run into this problem could you let me know the way to get it out thanks.
Once you've got the electrical connector and hose removed, lift the reservoir to clear the tabs from their slots, and pull it away from the shroud. It shouldn't be too tricky... but when dealing with 12-13 year old plastics that live in the engine compartment breakage is always a possibility.
