Bought a Project Truck
Hey guys, my current truck is about to die so about a couple months back I bought a project truck to replace my current one. Here's a few pictures of the new one. Sorry for the small pics, only had a cellphone to take them with
Old truck: Black 1996 Ram 1500, reg cab, short bed, 318 motor, nv3500 transmission, 4x4, Gibson single side/out exhaust, Airaid CAI.
New truck: Red 1995 Ram 1500, ext cab, long bed, 360 motor, 46rh transmission, 4x4, Custom single side/out exhaust with a flowmaster muffler cat free, suspension airbags, Airaid CAI from the old truck, tool box, custom back bumper.
Truck loaded on trailer when i first bought it:
Little more story, I bought the truck for 800 dollars, the transmission was completely broken, would not drive at all. So after keeping my eyes open for awhile i bought a transmission off craigslist from the same year truck and i put it in last saturday. From the short test drives I've taken it on it drives great!
The motor has 90k on it from a stock rebuild. I've also done an oil change and put new spark plugs in it yesterday. I also have a grille guard to put on it next weekend. Plans are also to do build an exhaust for it shortly.
Going down to the dmv tomorrow to get some temp tags for it, can't wait to take it for a real drive!
