Default My Rams

Hi.....my name is Jassim...just call me Jaz...I live in Abu Dhabi, UAE. In this country it is rare to find a dodge ram, especially the 2nd gen, so when i have problems, its hard to find a mechanic who knows about rams (thank God,no problems). I currently drive a 99 Ram 4x2 5.2 QC 125 K, and have another 96 ram 4x4 5.2 RC 69K that needs lot of $ to fix, want to fix it fast because need the 4x4 to go off-roading. Asking for dodge ram spare parts here is stupid , went to ask for the dashboard and a wiper arm, they said it would cost $1415 for the dash and $82 for the ram. These are my rides. Both Are stock, except the QC has a K&N Gen2 intake.

With my ram QC, everyting seems to be fine. But is it normal to get 12 sec time from 0-60?. Because the range at the end is good, and reached the 190 kph easily with o/d.

I would appreciate it if you guys can guide me to good a online shop so I can get replacements parts or mods, as I am shipping it from the US to UAE, I cant see the part in person, so scared to being scammed. Thanks
Not sure why images are not showing up.

Howdy and welcome to the site! A VERY good site that i use often is www.rockauto.com they have very good prices. 12seconds seems a little slow to me but my truck does around 8 seconds i think with 33-12.50/15s and 3in of lift with 392 gears.... Again welcome to the forum! Also someone might chime in about your headlights(there really yellowed) I forget the site that sells them fairly cheap aside from ebay..

online, you can get the best prices for stock parts at www.rockauto.com

But I don't know what the shipping would be to the UAE. I am surprised the truck can handle the heat and dust there. You need to clean that air filter about once a month in those places.

Very nice truck!

Thanks for the support guys....my cars can handle the high temperatures and dust, but I'm not surprised, because rams are made in Mexico, and i heard temperatures are really hot there too. My filter was purple, and now its black I checked rock auto, but cant find the dashboard, maybe I didn't search well, but thanks anyway.

dashboards are expensive. I don't think rockauto has them, only dealerships. 1120 installed is not that far off from the US.
