Default Thinking about buying this truck

It's an 03 1500 quad cab 4x4 offroad with the 5.9 with 58k miles on it. This is probably a stupid question but I'm sure dodge didn't do anything to fix the plenum or anything like that with the hemi's just coming out that year did they? The truck is pretty solid, the transmission shifts really well. I really need a newer vehicle and this one is pretty sharp even though I'd really like a hemi but there isn't any around here in my price range. I've got to go back to look at other magnum engine issues like death flash and what not but just tell me what yall think. Here are some photos.

Dodge did not fix the plenum for the '02 year. (They have the exact same engines that your current truck has)
But that said, that is a very nice and clean truck. Low miles, loaded to the brim, nice tires, no rust and well kept. The only thing wrong with it is the color... If it is in your price range, Id buy it

14k. It's a really nice truck. It drove a whole lot better than my old 5.9 and I really like it. I just don't want to have to drop a whole lot of money into it like you have to with the 2nd gens. It would look so much better with a little lift and some bigger tires

Not one without an insane amount of miles on it and looks as nice. I think I'm gonna hold off though. I would really like to upgrade from the 5.9 as I've had it for 12 years now. Who knows, maybe one will just happen to come my way.

IMHO I would wait thats alot to drop on a truck with a 5.9 in it, even the 4.7 is superior in mpg and with a slight drop in power(not noticeable).

the one good thing about that truck other than miles is the rims, but then again that body style also comes with 20's. I would keep looking and you should be able to find a hemi in similar shape for the same, right around 15k is where a few around me are floating at
