Anyone have any experience with the rust repair lower door skins? Closed the passenger door this morning and the bottom flopped...ARG! No salvage doors around (but keeping my eyes open) Can get those repair skins for $70 a piece. But if they are crap, why bother.

 

I'm not an expert, but I believe water gets in from the weather stripping from the door and window at the lower side. I have two 2nd gen. dodges with the same problem. I haven't done it, but if you only replace the skins, I bet it will happen again

 

yeah...those will be replaced as well. lmc has em.
