im not sure yet if im gonna take the flame grille off. and while it was sitting at the shop, with the bad tranny i was offered 1500 for it. but honestly i just got it on the road yesterday and with that fresh tranny and rebuilt 360, im tellin you its completly stock, like no power add ons, it will outrun my 98 with some mods, and its getting about 14mpg.

1300. new torque converter, inside rebuilt, new govoner, new tps, tranny lines, and labor so i think thats a pretty good deal. And the mechanic that did the work said if i see any leaks or it starts to shift funny within the next couple of months, just bring it back to him so he can correct it free of charge. he also put a gas line on it too.

i found out, the tranny was rebuilt like 1 year ago, but i guess one of the lines were pinched so the tranny was starving for fluid, which caused it to go so fast. Good for me cause thats why it was so cheap. The previous owner just spent 1500 for rims and tires and just got it inspected and the tranny went. And to get it inspected it got new balljoints! I was thinking this whole deal was too good to be true, but its turning out to be good. I got about 2200 total from buying it, tranny and getting it on the road and now i have a truck with no issues at all....yet.
Also i checked the plenum, no oil what so ever when i look down throttle body
